The road to Chania: the MRC Global Olympiad 2027
The 6th MRC Global Olympiad takes place on 23–26 April 2027 in Chania, Crete. Here is how the international event relates to MRC Ghana 2027.

The Minoan RobotSports Competition is an international movement that meets each year at the MRC Global Olympiad in Greece, organised by the Hellenic Educational Robotics Organization (H.E.R.O.).

Ghana has been there before
Ghana took part in the 2025 MRC Global Olympiad in Crete. MRC Ghana 2027 builds on that experience.
Two separate events
MRC Ghana 2027 (19–20 February 2027, Accra) and the MRC Global Olympiad 2027 (23–26 April 2027, Chania) are separate events with their own organisers and arrangements.
Is there a pathway from Ghana to Greece?
Any progression from Ghana to the Global Olympiad is conditional. It depends on the official eligibility rules, the national selection arrangements, compliance with the H.E.R.O. rules and any international places confirmed for Ghana.
Winning a category at MRC Ghana 2027 does not by itself guarantee selection. Selection also does not include flights, accommodation, international registration fees or sponsorship unless this is separately confirmed in writing.
